About Our Buffalo Assisted Living Home

Bee Hive Homes is licensed as a Buffalo, Wyoming Assisted Living Level II Facility.  What does that mean to you?  It means that we are licensed especially to care for residents that live with an Alzheimer/Dementia diagnosis.  This diagnosis does not mean the end of a productive life.  Our facility is prepared to meet the varied needs of our special residents in a safe secure manner.    Our specially trained Certified Nurses Aides provide assistance with ADL's, keep rooms clean, and do laundry.  Meals are designed by an dietitian and meet the individual needs of our residents  with snacks always available.  Our nurses provide assisted living care in a loving professional manner.  Rooms are completely furnished but families are encouraged to decorate to individual tastes. 

The Bee Hive Assisted Living Day

We eat all of our meals in the central dining room as a family unit.  We offer group activities that may include exercising, walks, making ice cream, discussing the news , bingo, or just visiting while enjoying the view of the Big Horn Mountains.  Individually, it may be a manicure/pedicure, a game of cards or working in the flowers.  We love to bake or enjoy  an afternoon at the movies complete with popcorn!  Family visits are encouraged so we have family dinners.  We enjoy music from visitors that come in on a regular basis. 

More Care Attention

Our resident count is low (no more than 15 residents), so each individual resident receives more individual attention from each caregiver.  This also allows our wonderful staff the opportunity to truly get to know the care requirements of each resident and meet their personal needs.  In order to meet the care requirements of a resident you must first know the care requirements, and these needs are continually changing.  Bee Hive Homes allows the caregivers to monitor and make adjustments to care as these changes occur.  In fact our Buffalo, Wyoming  assisted living home is more than a facility, we are family.
