Today we enjoyed making homemade bread for Pioneer’s Day. Everyone had their own dough to form into loaves and put into small tins to bake. They also made their own honey butter to put on their bread. The aroma was wonderful—from all the baking bread. After the loaves were golden brown, everyone enjoyed eating their own little loaf. It brought back wonderful memories to many– of their mom’s kitchen when they were younger and the smells of baking bread at home.
