About Our Leitchfield Assisted Living Home

Grayson County’s new Bee Hive Home is nestled in a beautiful setting across from the Grayson County fairgrounds in Leitchfield KY at 1417 Brandenburg Road (Highway 259). Your surroundings include a beautiful dining room and a cozy gathering area with soft carpeting, soothing colors, a large screen television, and a fireplace.  The open kitchen is part of the main area; designed so residents can watch the cook prepare the home cooked meals. The 16-room home features inviting private rooms with private baths.  Each room comes with a flat screen TV with cable.  Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.  Use our furniture or bring your own.  The outside of the home is beautifully landscaped and features a large covered back porch complete with rocking chairs and a view of the local countryside.  A city park with a walking track is nearby and accessible by sidewalk. Trained staff is on duty around the clock to assist residents with bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication management if needed.  

Our Care

We keep our home small so we can meet the needs of each resident on a caring and personal level.  We certainly feel that in order to truly care for someone you must be able to know them and their needs.  This wonderful environment allows each of our caregivers to give the time necessary to understand and meet each residents needs individually.

The Owners

We are state certified and a member of the Kentucky Assisted Living Facilities Association.  Owners John and Mary Nell Bouvier are very involved in the day-to-day operation of the Bee Hive.  John has a Master’s Degree in counseling with an emphasis in Geriatrics and Mary Nell has over twenty years of long term care administration experience.
