Sometimes there are just great people looking out for others.  That was exactly the case in Missoula, MT.  Kyong Kapalczynski, owner of the McDonalds, in Missoula, MT did something special for the residents of the BeeHive Homes of Missoula out of kindness and awareness of the current COVID-a9 situation. What could be better than free Happy Meals to the residents and staff of Beehive Homes to share a little joy? While many organizations are entering the recovery stage of COVID-19 and allowing community members to return to a bit of normalcy, the elderly in these homes are still at a higher risk of contracting the virus and cannot have visitors or leave the homes. "We hope the surprise of these meals will bring huge smiles to the faces of the residents at Missoula Beehive Home," said McDonald's Owner/Operator Kyong Kapalczynski in a statement. 2020 has been a tough year to keep families connected within the senior living environment.  BeeHive Homes has done our very best to be creative and innovative in keeping families connected with residents.  However, one high school senior has taken it upon himself to do his part as well. Dominic Bitzan, a high school senior at Spectrum High School in Elk River, knew he could use technology to help BeeHive residents stay connected with their families.  All he needed was a little help from a partner that would help him gather the iPads.  By working with Great River Energy they were able to provide iPads to the residents at BeeHive Homes in Elk River, MN.  Read the article here.

The BeeHive Homes of Great Falls, which has provided assisted living and memory care services since 2005, has opened a new memory care home. We are very excited to announce the groundbreaking of the BeeHive Homes of Huntingburg, Indiana. The BeeHive Homes of Cypress, Texas is now OPEN!. Randy Paramore, the owner, is also referred to as the "Bee Keeper." Randy is very happy with the new building, but that is certainly not his focus. "Without the people, it is just a house. Everybody has a house." Randy and the staff at BeeHive homes are definitely aiming for something much more special for each resident. Gerald Hamilton, owner of the BeeHive Homes of Albuquerque, BeeHive Homes of Henderson and BeeHive Homes of Mesquite, was recently voted the chairman of the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL). In addition, Gerald will serve as the NCAL representative on the American Health Care Association Board of Governors. Gerald has been serving in healthcare management for 35 years.  In addition to his current ownership and operation of multiple BeeHive Homes, Gerald has also worked as a licensed nursing home administrator, regional manager of multiple nursing homes and consultant. Following many years in nursing home administration he opened up his own assisted living home with BeeHive Homes and has since added many homes. BeeHive Homes would like to congratulate Gerald Hamilton on his recent election to the NCAL Chair position. Gerald will serve for the 2021/2022 term.
