THE BEEHIVE HOMES STORY
About Beehive Homes of Frisco

BeeHive Homes of Frisco is more than a place to receive care, it is a true home. With almost 33 years of experience and over 200 locations, BeeHive Homes is a leader in assisted living and memory care, delivering senior living in a residential setting rather than a large institutional one.

Uniquely designed, our homes are kept smaller on purpose. That scale gives residents more access to personal care and gives our professional, skilled caregivers the time to address needs individually. We believe that to provide the very best care, we must first get to know each resident well and discover what they actually need, and that is exactly what we do.

Our Frisco community offers assisted living, high acuity assisted living, memory care, and short-term respite care across dedicated buildings, so residents can receive the right level of support as their needs evolve. Residents enjoy private rooms with private ADA-accessible bathrooms, dietitian-approved home-cooked meals, 24-hour staffing, a secure outdoor courtyard, an on-site hair and nail salon, and daily life enrichment activities.

We invite you to visit us at 2660 Timber Ridge Road, Frisco, TX 75034 and experience firsthand why families across Frisco and Collin County trust BeeHive Homes. Call 469-353-8232 to schedule a tour and feel the difference for yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our monthly rate is all inclusive and depends on the level of care your loved one needs. We complete an initial evaluation for every potential resident, scoring functional abilities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, ambulation, transferring, and bed mobility, along with cognitive function. The monthly rate is based on that evaluation, and there are no hidden costs or fees.

The monthly charge covers trained staff on site 24/7, a house physician who visits two to three times a week, care coordination with your loved one's physician, pharmacist, and therapists, ongoing clinical assessment and care plan revisions, assistance to meals and activities including reminders and redirection, basic medication management through our preferred pharmacy, and a personal call system if desired. Utilities, telephone, cable TV, public Wi-Fi, weekly housekeeping, and laundry are included as well. Our high acuity building also has an RN on call.

Assisted living is for seniors who value their independence but want help with some activities of daily living, with 24-hour support, private rooms, meals, housekeeping, and activities. High acuity assisted living is for residents whose medical needs go further, including Hoyer lift transfers, insulin management, feeding tubes, or oxygen. Our high acuity building is staffed by caregivers trained for that level of care and has an RN on call, so residents can receive more support without leaving a residential setting.

Each BeeHive Home has a consulting nurse available on demand, and our high acuity building has an RN on call 24/7. A house physician also visits two to three times a week. In some cases residents can be assessed for home health and hospice services and, if approved, receive a higher level of nursing care in the home through those providers.

Usually, yes. Our goal is to let residents remain in the familiar comfort of home for as long as we can safely meet their needs, and residents who qualify for home health or hospice can receive those services here. There are exceptions, such as safety concerns we cannot safely manage or a need for 24-hour skilled nursing. When needs change, we work closely with families and physicians to make the next step as smooth as possible.

Yes. Our memory care building has double occupancy rooms that can be shared by couples, and in assisted living, side-by-side rooms can be taken by couples who want their own space while staying close. These rooms are limited, so please call 469-353-8232 to ask about current availability.

Family and friends are welcome, and visiting hours are adjusted to accommodate each family's schedule and the resident's needs. We simply ask that visits are not too early or too late, since steady routines matter to our residents. Call ahead any time and we will help you find a good window to visit.

A long-term care ombudsman helps residents of nursing facilities and assisted living facilities resolve complaints. Help provided by an ombudsman is confidential and free of charge. To speak with an ombudsman in Texas, call the toll-free number 1-800-252-2412.
