Respite Care
Beehive Homes of Lewisville offers respite memory care (short-term memory care) for your loved one who is suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's, should the need arise, expectedly or unexpectedly. Whether help is needed after a surgery or illness, for vacation coverage, or just a break from the routine, Alzheimer's and memory respite care provides you peace of mind in knowing your loved one is in good company and being well cared for. As a temporary memory care or dementia care resident, our respite residents enjoy all the same benefits that our full-time residents enjoy—a furnished room, three nutritious home-cooked meals a day (with snacks), great interaction with residents and staff, and activities tailored to their specific needs.

Our memory care is offered at an all inclusive monthly price with one time community fee. There are no hidden costs. Please call for more details.
Usually yes. There are exceptions, such as when there are safety issues with the resident, or they need 24 hour skilled nursing services.
No, but we do have a nurse available 24 – 7 for consultation. If nursing services are needed, a doctor can order home health to come into the home.
Visiting hours are available anytime needed to accommodate the families and the residents' needs.
Yes, our home has rooms designed to accommodate two people. Please ask about the availability of these rooms.
A long-term care ombudsman helps residents of a nursing facility and residents of an assisted living facility resolve complaints. Help provided by an ombudsman is confidential and free of charge. To speak with an ombudsman, a person may call the toll-free number 1-800-252-2412.
