If you're just starting to explore senior living, The Village floorplans at BeeHive Homes of Albuquerque offer a beautiful place to begin. Tucked between Wilshire and Corona Avenues, this isn’t your typical assisted living community. It’s a neighborhood of six individual homes, all working together to create one warm, welcoming space where care feels personal and community feels natural.
Each of the six BeeHive homes at The Village is its own sanctuary. Purposefully small in scale so that every resident is truly known, not just cared for. That’s part of what makes BeeHive different. From the moment you step through the door, you feel the difference: the soft hum of laughter from the living room, the smell of something good coming from the kitchen, the gentle routine of daily life flowing with kindness and ease. The Village takes that warmth and magnifies it across an entire shared property.
At BeeHive Homes at The Village, we offer three levels of care: Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care. What makes this layout particularly valuable is how seamlessly residents can transition between these care levels, without ever leaving the community they’ve come to call home.
One of the most comforting aspects of BeeHive Homes of The Village is the ability to transition between care levels without ever leaving the neighborhood. For example, an Assisted Living resident who begins to show signs of memory loss can shift into one of our Memory Care homes. They'll be greeted by familiar staff, friends, and surroundings still close by. This continuity eases what is often a difficult emotional adjustment. Families don’t have to start over, and residents don’t have to say goodbye to the community they know.
We see this often: someone starts in House D with light assistance and daily activities, builds relationships with staff and neighbors, and then, over time, may move into House F for more specialized Memory Care. Their care plan evolves, but their environment remains familiar and comforting.
This is the power of The Village model. It allows us to provide aging-in-place with true intention and grace. There’s no need to uproot your life to find the right care, because it’s all here, just across the sidewalk.
In each of our 6 Village homes there are 16 private bedrooms, each includes a private, ADA-approved bathroom, giving residents the dignity and independence balance they deserve. These rooms are carefully designed to cozy comfort with ample space for cherished personal belongings.

Our Assisted Living homes are designed for residents who want to maintain as much independence as possible, but need a helping hand with daily tasks. Whether it’s managing medications, preparing meals, bathing, or simply getting around safely, our caregivers are here 24/7 to offer support that’s both dignified and dependable.
But support at BeeHive Homes isn’t just functional... it’s relational. We take time to know every resident’s preferences, quirks, and routines. We know who likes their coffee before breakfast and who likes quiet afternoons with a puzzle. That’s the joy of our smaller home model. With fewer residents and a consistent caregiving team, our homes truly feel like homes, not facilities.
Each resident enjoys a private bedroom, comfortable shared spaces, and access to a full calendar of activities designed to spark joy and foster connection. And because our homes are all part of one Village, it’s easy to take a walk with friends between houses, join a group lunch on the patio, or wave to a neighbor as you head to the garden.
For residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory-related conditions, BeeHive’s Memory Care homes offer a safe and nurturing environment that emphasizes routine, reassurance, and respect. These homes are designed with structure in mind. Quiet spaces, simple layouts, and calm color palettes that help minimize confusion and create comfort.
But what truly sets our Memory Care apart is our team. Each caregiver is specially trained in dementia care and guided by compassion above all. We use gentle reminders, hands-on support, and meaningful engagement to help each resident feel valued and understood.
Because our Memory Care homes are located right within The Village, there’s no sense of isolation or separation. Residents can still enjoy the sunlight in our shared outdoor areas, visit with friends from Assisted Living, and participate in community-wide activities as appropriate. We believe that just because someone’s needs change, their sense of belonging shouldn’t.
Caregiving is one of the most loving things a family member can do but even the most devoted caregivers need a break. That’s where our Respite Care comes in. Whether you need support for a weekend, a week, or even a few months, our Respite stays offer all the benefits of full-time residency, without the long-term commitment.
Guests in Respite Care receive the same attentive support, home-cooked meals, and warm social interactions that full-time residents enjoy. It’s a wonderful option for families planning travel, recovering from surgery, or simply needing a little breathing room. And for many, it’s a first step toward long-term care, giving loved ones a chance to experience BeeHive without pressure.
Beyond the logistics of care, what really defines BeeHive Homes of Albuquerque – The Village is the feeling you get when you visit. It’s not flashy or formal. It’s friendly. It’s honest. It’s warm.
You’ll see caregivers sitting beside residents, not standing over them. You’ll hear the clink of dinner dishes and the gentle murmur of conversation during evening TV time. You’ll notice staff who know everyone’s favorite snack and call residents by name with a smile.
This is what we’re proud to offer: not just a place to live, but a place to belong.
We’d love for you to see The Village floorplans at BeeHive Homes of Albuquerque for yourself.
