Christy Sanchez (House Manager)

How I came to Bee Hive Homes?  My first exposure to this field was in 2015, when I started with a company called Expressions Unlimited.  I worked with 2 individuals with brain injuries and Pater Willi syndrome, and I fell in love with the work: it was the best decision for my career. After their deaths, while that was difficult, I still wanted to work with our older population.

I started here as a caregiver on May 19th, 2021.  It’s different with 15 residents instead of 2, but each has a place in my heart.  I miss those who leave us and look forward to those who will come. I learn something every day from the residents.  We laugh, cry, and celebrate, which makes such a wonderful experience I look forward to coming to work.  

When the house manager position became available, I took the position with open arms and ran with it. I’m learning every day.  My vision is to be a great leader for my residents and staff: someone they can look up to and be inspired to be someday where I am.  I’m looking forward to being here for years to come, learning and enjoying daily.

Dena Warren (House Manager)

I am a mother of six, one daughter and five sons. I came to Beehive in 2019 as a caregiver on the graveyard shift. During my first few solo shifts, I wasn't sure if I could do this type of work, but I stuck with it and fell in love with my job. This job is rewarding in so many ways, I look forward to coming to work, and I strive to make a difference in my residents' and their families lives. I am now a manager and have such a great team that I am proud to be a part of.
