To me, care is crocheting my heart out at the BeeHive.
We had never been apart since 1951 when we got married. We had trouble finding a place that would take both of us. We really were tickled when they said we could live together.
I don’t hike as much as I did. Because of that, I do my exercise out here on this track. Living here keeps me close to what I like. I’m 90 years old now and I want to keep going as long as I can. To me, care is still being able to exercise.
With a focus on smaller facilities designed to resemble residential homes, the BeeHive Homes model is unique. It has been our approach from the very first home to take a very personal approach to assisted living care services. We take tremendous pride in the fact that the BeeHive Homes assisted living model has been refined and improved for over 27 years. It will always be our mission to provide the very best care environment available to those who need a little extra assistance with daily living.
BeeHive assisted living all began in 1987 when Twayne Walker built the first assisted living home in Meridian, Idaho. In response to a very limited number of quality care facilities, Twayne originally built the first BeeHive Homes assisted living home as a means to provide his grandmother with quality care in a personalized, home-like surrounding. Dennis Toland recognized the void the BeeHive Homes assisted living homes could fill, and he partnered with Twayne to promote the finest quality care environment available. BeeHive Homes is dedicated to making the move to assisted living and/or memory care seamless and comfortable for its residents.
The BeeHive Homes assisted living model itself is certainly unique and should be experienced before care decisions are made. At BeeHive Homes we offer long-term and respite care that combine housing, assistance with daily activities, and health care services as needed. We invite you to tour any of our BeeHive Homes assisted living homes. Please call to schedule a personal tour with any of our 140+ assisted living/memory care homes.
