Our BeeHive Services

The mission of BeeHive Homes of Kalispell is to provide assistance with activities of daily living to seniors with physical and/or cognitive challenges in an individual, respectful, and dignified manner while maintaining a safe and home-like setting. We believe every life has its journey through aging, and, as such, should have an individualized care plan to support the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs as they progress through their journey. Additionally, the individual care plan must remain adaptable and collaborative with all members involved in supporting that person’s journey.

Each resident is evaluated by a registered nurse at admission and again quarterly and at any significant change in condition. This evaluation includes a review of current and past health conditions, physical and cognitive status, assistance needs with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), sensory patterns, mood and behavior trends, safety and assistive devices, weight trends, and current medications. Following this assessment, the Resident Care Plan is created to provide instruction to the Care Team for that individual’s specific needs, and this plan is routinely reviewed by BeeHive Homes Leadership Team, the Resident (if able), and the Resident’s legal representative to address any adjustments needed.

All residents are served fresh, home-cooked, and dietitian-approved meals and snacks designed to take into account their individual nutritional needs and preferences. All housekeeping needs are provided, and laundry services are scheduled twice weekly for each resident. A robust Activities Program in our homes provides numerous active and passive types of activities throughout the day along with frequent special activities including Family Nights and scheduled outings around the Flathead Valley. Transportation services are provided to any resident needing assistance to and from scheduled appointments provided advanced notice is given.

Additional Services

BeeHive Homes of Kalispell will provide short-term, respite services for any individual needing assistance on a short-term basis provided a room is available and the individual is deemed appropriate for an Assisted Living setting. This individual will receive the same evaluation, assistance, and services as any permanent resident in the home. Additionally, Adult Day Care services are offered in select homes Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
